Special Occasion styles

Here are some clients I have taken care of for special occasions. Whether it be a prom, homecoming, wedding, or just a girls night out, there's always a reason to get all dolled up!

Melissa has naturally curly hair, so we smoothed out her curls to give her a softer look and added some fun gold accessories to go with her dress.

For Kelsey, she wanted a full, soft half up style for her senior prom. I also preformed a makeup application on her using Bed Head makeup and some fabulous false eyelashes!

This was a style done for a school dance using a curling iron.

This style was done using clip in extensions

Twists going up to rolls with pinned curls in the back. I then added a few black pieces which I made using zig zag ribbon and hair pins

very clean classic up do for a school dance

A more Dramatic style with a lot of teasing and hair spray

low set loops and curls with a small bump on top

Twists in the front and looped back. I made the hair accessories using pearl string found at the craft store and hair pins.

After Kelly got her color and extensions, I then curled her hair with a 1 inch flat iron to create big waves in the hair. I then teased up the crown, braided pieces and pinned then back in to the style to create a more intricate style. I also did her dramatic makeup.

These two models were part of Strands Salon 2007 fashion show! I did the cut, color, and makeup for both models.

This is Heather, and for her up do I wanted to give her a nice, classic style for her wedding on captiva island.

For Jenna's up do, We went for a classic style with pearls to go with her dress and accessories.

For Adrian's wedding I gave her a nice, side swept style. She opted for a beautiful flower, feather piece instead of a veil which really accentuated the style.

another style I did for a school dance. The style really accentuates the colors in her hair.

Long Hair and Extension Pics

Here are some long hair cuts, colors and extensions I have done in the past!

Kristen has naturally long hair and was looking to add just a few more inches for prom. I added 16 inches of hair extensions then curled it using a 1 inch flat iron.

here is Jenna's before and after! We cut a lot off but gave it more of a style.

Kristie and her dramatic color

Sam before and after extensions

Beautiful, soft color and flowing style on Sloane.

Kelly just wanted a subtle few inches added to her hair so when she curls it it stays very long.

a great 2 color peek a boo effect!

Beautiful in Blue!

Who said long hair can't be fun?!

Here is Brooke's before and after! I wanted to give her a color that worked well with her skin tone and her personality!

Brittany was a new mother looking for more manageability and style for her curly hair so I gave her a richer color,a fun textured cut and smoothed it out with a flat iron.

Amanda is one of the models we used for our 2007 Strands Salon fashion show! After giving her a beautiful, vibrant red color I did a very large bump in her hair (no bump its required) and did a dramatic, colorful makeup application on her!

Casie was the receptionist at Hair to be Different. She had difficulty growing her hair because of her love of flat ironing. So to give her the long, luscious locks she always wanted we added 16 inches of extensions after giving her a color and highlights. You can see what a difference it made for her!

Short Hair pics

This is some of my past work of short hair. These pictures are of some of my friends and clients who were nice enough to let me photograph them after I had cut, colored, and styled there hair.

Allison is a client of mine who is deffinatly not afraid to have fun hair! Here is one of her latest styles!

This is my good friend Amelia, she is a nail tech and is going to school to be a teacher. She has awesome hair to work with! I did a lot of fine highlights throughout the top and went in with a darker color on the bottom.

This is another friend of mine Ashley who is currently a hair student in the process of getting her license. This funky coloring techinque was done for Strands Salon fashion show in 2007. She was a good sport and let me go wild on her hair!

This is Allison. She is going to school to pursue a nursing degree. She is constantly having me change her color and cut and this is just one of many looks I have done on her hair! I love the dramatic look of the light blond against the dark red!

Kirsten has been my client for almost 3 years now! She had originally came to me with very long hair and was looking for a dramatic change! She hasen't gone back to her long locks since!

This is Lisa and it was a fun transformation! She came to me with this long curly hair and wanted a dramatic change! I think hats exactly what she got!

This is another look I did for Ashley. Shes never afraid to let me play with color!

This is my #1 client, my mother Sandra! She was the very first person who trusted me even from hair school to do whatever I want! This is just one of her many looks she has allowed me to do for her!

This is Shanna. she has been a client of mine for almost as long as I've been doing hair! She switches back and forth between this length and super short hair! This is the lightest color we've done in her hair and it looks great!

Adrian and her twin sister Katie have been coming to me since about 2007. She switches from short and blonde to long and brown so its always a pleasure to have her come in!
